Brendan McCann is a Corrupt Homicide Detective in Detroit.
Pilot[]
Brendan is first seen in a bar where he is passed out drunk. Joe Geddes and Frank Agnew come in and pretend to help him to his car. Being too drunk to know otherwise, Brendan lets them "help" him, but they end up drowning him instead. Soon after, a flashback shows Brendan pointing a gun at Katia, Frank's prostitute girlfriend. Joe convinces Frank that Brendan did in fact murder Katia. This provides insight as to why Frank helped Joe to kill Brendan. Frank and Joe later load Brendan's body into his car and then force the car into the river, to be found the next day. As the Police Agency search the car they find a dead body in the back of Brendan's car. It is also learned that Brendan worked with Damon Callis.
The Goat Rodeo[]
Brendan's body can be seen being examined for cause of death. The water in his lungs were tested and came back negative as a match to the river he was found in proving that he did not commit suicide but was murdered.
